Atlantic Healthcare Training runs an Aged Care specific Therapy Assistant course twice a year.
AHT also runs on an "as needs" basis, a number of workshops, both for Atlantic staff and facilities, on topics such as:
- Occupational Safety and Health;
- Manual Handling;
- Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI),
- Customised to suit your needs.

Therapy Assistant Half Day Workshops March - June 2010

We have opened up the units within our therapy assistant course to become available as "one off" half day workshops.
These workshops assist therapy assistants currently working in Aged Care:
a) Gain appropriate knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively, and
b) Possibly assist in meeting expected outcomes for accreditation standards.

Medication Management Training for Personal Carers
These 5 hour workshops provide Carers with an awareness of the principles underlying distribution of Medications and the practical skills to safely perform the task.
